Watashi Wa BiographyWatashi Wa was a Christian pop/indie rock band from the Central Coast of California on Tooth & Nail Records. Watashi Wa is Japanese and roughly translated means, depending on the context, "I", "myself", or, "As for me." Fans have speculated that this is a reference to the Biblical "I am", a phrase used throughout the Old and New Testament of the Bible by God and Jesus. The band formed in 2000 when most of the members were still in their teens. They were first signed to indie label Bettie Rocket and released two albums before signing to Tooth & Nail in 2002. . ...
